Antoine Matar
Partner

Antoine Matar specializes in International Tax and U.S. Domestic Tax, specializing in U.S and foreign-based multinational entities and U.S. and foreign individuals. Antoine provides general international tax consulting and guidance on international tax compliance. He works closely with clients to handle their offshore voluntary disclosure cases by analyzing their unreported income and offshore financial accounts. In addition, he prepares complex passive foreign investment company analyses and various other foreign forms.

Prior to joining Metzler Advisory, Antoine was recruited by Brent Metzler to work for a mid-sized firm in Tampa. For the next two and half years, under Brent’s mentorship, he quickly honed his skills in domestic and international taxation. Domestically, he handled large mutli-state corporations, large partnerships, consolidations, and business tax credit and deduction planning. In addition, he handled various IRS compliance issues and tax audits.
